On November 26, 2024, the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University inaugurated the Renewed Bretton Woods Fund Library, a groundbreaking initiative hosted within the university's scientific library. The opening ceremony brought together international and domestic experts, distinguished guests, faculty members, and students, marking a significant milestone for the academic and research community of Central Asia. Bolat Tilep, the Rector and Chairman of the Board of KazNPU, highlighted the uniqueness of this library as the first of its kind in Central Asia. The project was realized through the generosity of Marc Uzan, founder of the Bretton Woods Fund, who donated his extensive collection of books gathered during his studies in France and the United States.

The library houses a diverse and invaluable collection spanning various disciplines, including economics, finance, political science, cultural studies, fiction, Nobel laureates' biographies, conference materials, psychology, education, history, international law, and international relations. With over 2,500 books and archival materials, the library stands as a treasure trove for scholars and researchers. Its mission is to promote the advancement of science and education by providing open access to these resources. The library's collection also features works by Nobel laureates and renowned global economists, reflecting its commitment to intellectual excellence.

Dedicated to fostering academic growth and collaboration, the library welcomes scholars, researchers, and students from Kazakhstan and across Central Asia.
